About The Trust
The Waterways Trust was established in 1999, and has the endorsement of Government. HRH The Prince of Wales is the Patron.
We work in partnership with others to promote greater public enjoyment of the UK's waterways. We raise funds for and undertake waterway regeneration, conservation, recreation, community, arts, access and activity projects.
We help communities become actively involved with their local waterway. With our partners we look for innovative ways of appreciating our rich waterways heritage.
